What is Freaky Creatures?

Freaky Creatures is a Massively Multiplayer Online game where you buy your creature as a collectible figure at your local store, take a digital version of that creature on your PC, customize and balance him to your play style, create a lair for your creature to reside in, then unleash him against other players online! With each Starter Pack you buy you receive a reusable 1G USB drive, 2 collectible figures, a digital version of your creature(s), 50 random creature parts, 20 random creature powers and 4 random lair items for your creature. If you purchase an add-on pack you will receive 1 collectible figure, a digital version of your creature, 25 random creature parts, 10 random creature powers and 2 random lair items for your creature.

How many Creatures does Freaky Creatures have?

There are 11 total. Four of them will be released as 2 different starter packs (Setsa/Cyclopor and Dracon/Trappern) the other 6 will be released as add-on packs (singles) upon release, and 1 secret digital creature that is unlocked when you collect all 10. When you add up all the possible combinations by combining the creature types and the parts available, you get over 3.2 billion different visual combinations. So the answer would be over 3.2 billion.

Which strategy works best in Freaky Creatures?

That depends on how you like to play, if you are a defensive player then you would benefit on focusing your creature with balanced defense and healing powers. If you enjoy dealing damage then you would focus on equipping parts that increased your critical hit and powers that stacked damage against your opponent. An alternate strategy would be to equip parts and powers that debuffed your opponent and allowed you to buff yourself up to destroy your enemy, or possibly build a creature that specializes in stunning the enemy creature making it easier to hit, or you can have a mix of all these different kinds of offense/defense options. As you can see, you build your creature according to your own fighting philosophy and the ultimate build is the one that best suits you.

What is currently going on in the Freaky Creatures Community?

At launch, the Freaky Creatures community will feature leaderboards, personal pages, team pages, forums, the creature club store (where you can purchase new parts, powers, lair items and pets) trading (powers, with other players) and much, much more. Currently on beta, there are tournaments where you can win prizes and a forum where you can communicate directly with the developers of the game. There is also a Freaky Creatures newsletter you can sign up for when you request a beta code, the newsletter keeps you on top of the latest Freaky Creatures developments.

Be sure to check your spam box just to be sure and flag freakycreatures.com to get through your spam filter. We try and invite people every week but sometimes the process may take a while, also note that there is no guarantee that everyone will be accepted into beta.
